A Private Waterfront Space with
a Discreetly Integrated Tender Garage

AWATEA doesn't have a conventional arrangement where the tender garage is one enclosed space and a relatively narrow bathing platform sits outside it. Instead, the garage becomes the beach club when the tender is launched, and the platform effectively becomes its outdoor terrace at sea level. The air-conditioned area with a shower, dressing area and bathroom can also double as a fitness center. The whole arrangement creates a much larger water-level zone than the platform alone suggests. Two cascading stairways, port and starboard, slope down from the aft deck to the platform providing easy access.

AWATEA’s garage is sized for a 7.5m (24’6”) tender. The current tender is a 7.5m carbon-fibre X-Tender RIB with a 220hp Volvo Penta diesel engine, weighing 1,300 kg. It is launched using the 2,000kg dedicated Cramm overhead gantry garage crane overhauled during the 2026 refit.
The garage space is generous and AWATEA carries two F5 Seabobs, two paddleboards, two wakeboards and a Rocket Wakesurf plus an Olympic class laser and a large range of inflatables, towables and diving equipment.
AWATEA also carries a Zodiac 4.2m (13’8” RIB) with a Yamaha F50 outboard engine on the foredeck which is launched with a 500kg Nautical Structures foredeck crane.

The 22sqm /237 sq foot platform has custom fenders and a carbon-fibre swim ladder and accommodates removable umbrellas and chairs. The stern/garage door and its hydraulics were rebuilt during the refit, and the swim-platform teak has also been renewed.
